At the Janice Barfoot Cake and Sugarcraft Centre (Janice B’s) in Hedge End, near Southampton, we make and create everything from delicate handmade sugar decorations, to delicious everyday tea time cakes, to personalised celebration cakes, to the elegant multi-tiered wedding centrepiece of your dreams.
Since our founding by Janice in 1993, our expert cake team has supplied professional bakers, aspiring makers and “just love cake”-ers with sugarcraft tools, supplies and friendly cake and sugarcraft advice.
Our recently reappointed classroom hosts a wide variety of macaron, baking and sugarcraft classes, offering something for everyone.

5 months agoI could not recommend Janice barefoot cake and sugar craft centre enough! They made our beautiful wedding cake, it looked and tasted absolutely incredible. The sugar hydrangeas looked real, and we are so happy our dog got to be on our cake, Gaye and her team genuinely bought my vision to life and I am so thankful!

7 months agoFirst class quality cakes, Gaye knows exactly how to put you at ease when ordering a wedding cake. The tasting of the cake options was really good, making the choice easy, the cakes are delicious, and their decoration using sugar work is second to none. I've never seen such beautiful cakes. Many of my wedding guests thought they were real flowers. Highly recommended 👌

7 months agoOrdered our wedding cake from Janice Barfoot. Three tiers - chocolate, vanilla and fruit. All our guests commented on how delicious the cake was. Gaye really helped us with the design, no question was too much, and they delivery and set up at the venue. Highly recommend for traditional style wedding cakes.

a year agoWent in to order a 60th birthday cake for my husband. Shop was busy but a lady came out from the back to help me, she was so kind and patient and although I had an idea of what I wanted she made some really helpful suggestions and nothing was too much trouble! The finished product looked absolutely wonderful and the cake was delicious, everyone remarked on how good it was! If you are looking for a cake for a special occasion I would highly recommend you giving them a visit!
