Welcome to Belle Vue Cakery, we are Sarah and Emma, the brains and passion behind the ideas.
We have been friends since meeting at secondary school way back in the 1980’s. Despite both travelling far and wide, we have stayed firm friends. Our careers in retail and hospitality means we are passionate about customer service and attention to detail in everything we do.
Our shared passion for baking and making beautifully decorated cakes has led to many a late night conversation about starting up our own cake business. Finally, in early 2022 we took the plunge and here we are. From Sarah’s kitchen in Brighton we really are baking with love.
The name, Belle Vue Cakery, was born from Sarah’s home that her and her partner have spent years building. A beacon of hard work and dedication that became the inspiration for our business. The house is finally finished and what better way to celebrate than fill the brand new kitchen with flour, sugar and chocolate!

7 months agoSarah created an amazing cake for my seven year old granddaughter’s “disco” birthday party. It was an absolute showstopper which tasted amazing. Sarah was super helpful and rejigged things when our plans had to change at the last moment. I am delighted to recommend her for excellent service and beautiful cakes.

2 years agoSarah and Emma were the best. So so helpful and knowledgeable about the cakes. They responded quickly to any emails I sent and answered my questions. The cakes were ready exactly on time and looked perfect. I was given advice on how to transport them and how best to cut them. Not only did they look amazing they tasted so so good too. Lovely and fluffy and moist. The buttercream was super smooth. I had a vanilla cake, a lemon one and a chocolate one. Would definitely recommend Belle Vue to friends and family and will definitely be using them again. They are based in Brighton but regularly visit Eastbourne areas too and knew the venue I was using there. Thank you Belle Vue Cakery.

a year agoAbsolutely blown away by the quality of the cupcakes my mom organized for my surprise engagement party. Thoroughly impressed. Best cupcakes I’ve ever had. The communication my mom had was amazing and they went over and above to make the cupcakes perfect. We had a gluten and dairy free guest and cupcakes we got for them were sensational as well. We can’t rave enough about experience here. ❤️

3 years agoBelle Vue Cakery made our amazing wedding cake and cupcakes! Sarah could not do enough to ensure that they were exactly what we wanted and took a huge amount of time making sure that we were happy before they were made. The cakes were delivered to our venue and set up ready for the evening. Many people at our wedding commented on how beautiful - and tasty - the cakes were. I could not recommend this local company highly enough!
