A very clean shop with friendly staff. Options were limited and upon eating the products I purchased, we all agreed you could taste the raw ingredients, like licking the bowl. It was that buttery, eggy, flour taste. Actually binned mine half way through eating it. Flapjacks weren't as bad as the millionaires but all in all we said we wouldn't purchase from here again. Sad because they have such a strong reputation.

Thank you for our for our wedding cake. It was amazing from the design, delivery and decorating to taste. Would recommend x

I came to collect a 21st Birthday Cake this morning 13/11/25 The Cake looks just as we thought it would, Fabulous 👌 and to say it tasted amazing well thats another story. It was out off this world. Huge thank you to everyone at Gardners Bakery Northampton

The chocolate cake tasted absolutely disgusting!! For a £100 cake I was AT LEAST expecting thin layers of cake + buttercream but no. It was TWO DRY THICK LAYERS of cake with buttercream icing in the middle to separate it?? It looked nice but that’s about it. Don’t recommend.

So rude. My mum phoned today regarding getting some cakes made for a funeral and the attitude of the staff was simply out of order…. Interrupted me in my first sentence to say “let me stop you there, there’s nothing we can do for you” and ended the phone. Clearly no time for their customers or even wanting business…. the irony in that we wanted to support a local business and that’s what comes with it.
